Day Trip Powder Tours

There are numerous ski tour options from downtown Cooke City. Allow one of our guides to show you some of the great POWDER STASHES, right from your motel door. Ski tours up Republic, Hayden and Sheep Creek provide many options for every ability level. From low angle tree skiing, to steeper bowl and couloir skiing, there are possibilities for all types of conditions and people’s abilities. Beartooth Powder Guides also guides in Yellowstone National Park near Cooke City and the Big Sky region.

High Alpine Tours

The Beartooth mountains that surround Cooke City are loaded with high alpine tour options. The terrain outside the winderness boundaries around Goose Lake, Mount Zimmer and Aero Lakes provides days of options with some of the most scenic ski touring in the United States, bring your camera!

Fully Guided Hut trips

Stay in the Woody Creek Cabin or the Mount Zimmer Yurt and let us take care of all the logistics. Our guides are following the snowpack and weather conditions daily and will make sure to find you the best snow available. The terrain, snowpack and route finding can be tricky, let us break trail for you all day and keep you safe.
