Springtime weather and snowpack create excellent conditions to summit and ski Granite Peak via the south side of the mountain. In addition to summiting and skiing Granite Peak, other 12,000′ mountains near Granite Peak, like Glacier Peak, and Mount Villard hold great ski descents.
